the answer is always sakiri none of the other characters are looking long term incredible so if not that dont ask and pick ur favorite which is totally fine. people are loving jiuyuan rn bc she has burst dps she has grouping she even can have healing. this means she has a little of everything which is kickass for early game but means shes the most likely char to get powercrept bc shes like ooooooook at like every single job which is obviously long term worse than being kickass at something like sakiri is at least best buffer rn. i will add hathor gives some of the best current out of combat benefits but unironically im pretty sure shes mid asf in combat and feels wonky to use
everyone else just do dmg and game is casual friendly so obviously they do enough dmg that if u like them they are ...fine

also just wait is the stupidest possible argument why would u wait to grab characters that are inevitably going to be dwarfed. they are at there most valuable and feel the best to unlock at this exact moment not 4 months in the future. especially given that we give 2 selectors. people say it as a cop out anti-answer

sadly it's super fight situational. tc group gonna be testing this for a couple hours in call tomorrow but i promise u the difference unless ur switching per situation (which basically comes down to exactly how long the fight lasts) the difference will be negligible. imho the best ones are a2 or a3 but then if u ever got a 2nd copy a3 with a5 goes through the roof in stonks so i went a3. a1 and a4 are bait 90% of the time

It's for leveling three of your characters' city abilities to level 3, aka the characters managing your cafes.
