if its quite literally the maximum capacity the drive has it got 100% wiped

Id say one of my funniest yet extremely frustrating situations ever was when i did a wipe and fresh install of windows because i got practically all new hardware so i wanted a clean start. Well as i boot up im getting that my new amd 3900x cpu is running at 100% at idle and im thinking "WTF" so i tried reseating it and everything else within my knowledge until i said screw it and went to microcenter showed them the issue and exchanged the cpu. Did this like 4 times and they let me exchange each time too lol

Well turns out, when i did my wipe that windows did not delete the old OS so i was running two windows OS at once. The moment i deleted the old files its went down to normal idle 😂😭

if this happens to work and you enter into recovery menu try startup repair if that fails then open the command prompt and run: bootrec /fixmbr, bootrec /fixboot, or bootrec /rebuildbcd commands to fix bootloader issues and then "chkdsk c: /f /r" (without the "") to fix file system errors

try disconnecting one of the ram sticks honestly

Oh @delicate monolith and @maiden juniper maybe i can run this by you, every once in awhile after a restart and or power up from being completely off ill get this issue where my pc feels like its running at like 2fps. Even at my login screen my mouse moves extremely slow, key stroke inputs, ect until i restart it and it can take 1-3 times before everything is running smooth again. Ever ran into this problem? Ive tried scouring the internet but no luck.

Then make disk the primary boot
