got another device like a laptop and a usb to download a copy of windows from microsoft, then you can use the usb to boot windows on that pc

side load linux, create new partition, then when it installs, go into boot manager to decide which OS you wanna boot

Yea to me that sounds like either dead storage or bad cable, but thats just a pure guess and why id suggest buying a new sata cable before new storage

nah, i still have like 6 more certfications to get, but i ended up getting 4 comptia certs back to back

do a chkdsk on the storage device, it can tell you if its actually dead or just has bad sectors.

bad thing about bios is that it doesnt show how much storage is occupied on a disk

yes but clearly the most basic reason for this is the whole disk got wiped.. even if it gets recognized your windows is not recognized

and contrary to that belief.. if you have a brand new ssd.. and you attempt to "defrag it" you can potentially make it a paperweight in less than 30 seconds

Generally even if you cant get to windows you can still f12/f11 and get to recovery options where you can use command prompt
