in terms of performance it should be roughly within same ballpark if not slightly faster than the base ps5 despite using a lower tier gpu due to ipc improvements and newer gpu architecture

keep in mind those are their more entry level budget machines

the stuff they got at $1k+ are going to be much faster at certain stuff and have more i/o and features

stuff like maybe usb4/thunderbolt, more display outs, better displays, battery and so on

keep in mind the gabe cube won't support dp over usb-c and it won't support thunderbolt nor usb4

weird that they made all the characters look the same, given people's concerns after recent patches it looks like they're really going to lean into what people were dreading

i was going to say they look like npc's. but i think even npc's have more personality

its more like someone went into character creation for a game and picked all the most basic options

the theme of the last patch didnt really fit with the other stuff they had with worldbuilding, but the characters at least stood out

How many choices and lines can a writer write. I literally saw people on twitter having romantic talk of 1000+ messages with wwm ai npc. You think that can be achieved with writers. Story dialogues need writers. Npc behaviour and normal of story chat should be ai. ( My opinion)

like, while im talking about this kinda stuff, bear in mind a lot of it can and will change for these new games, but you also cant just assume it will all be large and positive - it can be, but a lot of these new ones also wont make it long term

whereas for tof they made 800m with pretty much nothing back when they were small, so to say im not worried would be a huge understatement

and to that end - try every game like this, they will surprise you for better or worse, re-evaluate them when we hit the beta 2 mark
