Games showing cracked icon when previously working

I had azahar working fine in my Thor, decrypted roms and everything. I was setting up emulation station and had to rename my roms folder to specifically ‘ROMs’. I had also set up my user folder to be in the roms folder and once I created a new folder for the user info called ‘azahar’ and selected the new ‘ROMs’ folder for application directory, all the games showed as broken similar to how it looked with non decrypted games.

I tried clearing cache and data and resetting up the app multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled once. Restarted device, renamed roms folder multiple times. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Did you dump the roms from your 3ds correctly?

Screen goes black like game is opening and then azahar closes and I’m taken to Home Screen.

I believe so. The games were working fine prior to me changing the name of the rom folder

change the folder name back to the name it was when it worked and see if that fixes it

I did try that and no success.

I ended up deleting all the games in that folder on sd card and then transferred them back from my external hard drive. They work now. But I really don’t understand what happened

That sounds like your SD Card could be defective or fake. I would recommend backing up your data and testing it with a tool like ValiDrive or H2testw.

It’s a team group sd card. But I will do a back up on the only game I’ve started and try those tools. Thanks.

There's your problem
Amazon is known for co-mingling third-party merchants' stock with theirs for some items like SD Cards
The problem is that fake SD Cards are pretty common on the third-party marketplace, so buying SD Cards on Amazon is always a gamble

The best way to make sure you get a legitimate SD Card from Amazon is to make sure it says "Sold and shipped by Amazon.com", but even then it's a gamble
That's why I like to buy SD Cards in-stores whenever I can
