Fatal Error when opening the Mii Maker for Pretendo

Hey, I'm trying to setup Pretendo for Azahar, but when I go to the Mii Maker it gives me a fatal error. I've tried reinstalling the system files but it didn't work. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate seems to work fine.

How did you do the setup?

If you used more than 1 3DS system for the setup, that's what went wrong

i only have one 3ds

during the 2nd download/redownload i never closed or changed anything on my 3ds

Does the crash happen when you're in the home menu and load Mii maker?

yes

it happens both from the Azahar apps list and the emulated 3ds menu

update, deleted azahar and all of its files and restarted the process, it is still happening

try to make sure the regions settings of azahar matches the settings of your 3ds

it should be, i could double check

the firmware has "E" on the end which i'm pretty sure also includes Australia

which i have it set to on Azahar

i can try setting it european and download the system files and see if that changes anything

and how did you delete azahar ?

deleted the files in Appdata and uninstalled the application

i tried just uninstalling the application but it kept everything when i redownloaded it

I have no idea why it doesn't work

you may try to use my save game file, but i doubt that will work

to put in AppData\Roaming\Azahar\nand\data\00000000000000000000000000000000\extdata\00048000\F000000B\user

I tried updating my graphics drivers and using VKDiag and nothings changed

I did some research on the fatal error code you get, and it appears to be a generic "File not found" error

just need to find out what i'm missing

are you sure the update made during the artic setup did not get interrupted ?

i've downloaded the system files 3 times

maybe your directory has an unusual name, an issue with your User name ?

have you tried a portable installation ? (make user folder next to azahar.exe)

yeah i've tried that too

i dragged everything from app data into there, should i try reinstalling it to there?

are your console region-changed ?

like did i mod my consoles region to be different?

@west oracle managed to get it to work

the fix was to set the region to auto-select

for info, the same thing happened with every other applet, simply booting friends list for example does exactly the same error

more investigation needs to be done but a small question, did your console have a previous owner ?

I'm pretty sure it hasn't, but I've had it for ages now

I'll try that fix when I get back to my computer

what does Azahar have against Aussies 😔

maybe this has to do with the fact that AUS/EUR regions have similarities

it may be a case specific to the Aussies, but it would be strange no one noticed, or maybe this is caused by a recent change
