#[SOLVED] Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon Crashes on Boot using Vulkan

I checked the issue, you're using a gpu from 2013. I don't think it actually supports the minimum vulkan version for azahar
Looks like it is time for shopping are there any GPU that you recommend and that is budget friendly
The rx 6600 is less than $200 USD used on ebay, and according to benchmarks, outperforms your current gpu by ~1300%
I need to hustle cause dawg what is that price ๐ญ๐ญ
It'll probably be better if you're not in the US
But you are bc you call it dark moon
Instead of Luigi's mansion 2
I could buy 155 Mcchickens with that type of money
But you could also buy an overpriced used gpu with that
The 6500 xt is under $100 if you wanna go for one of the cheapest modern-ish gpus
It "performs"
If new to the thread basically I need a better GPU for the game but I am too broke for it ๐
@grim ledge I heard you're using a GPU that's almost 12 years old, OpenGL is a pretty old engine that uses a simpler way of working for older GPUs, while Vulkan is a newer engine which works in a more complex way for more modern GPUs
Also instead of emulating the game you can use your 3ds ||(hopefully you have one and I'm not helping a pirate)|| to play your game if a GPU is too expensive
Used maybe, not new for sure
Yeah thanks it is that I use the emulator to test games that are compatible with my computer and also for archiving purposes
It is also that Vulkan works better with that GPU instead of OpenGL which stutters on games
Also no I am not a pirate
You literally did though? It makes sense they'd want to reassure you, I would too
Which you followed up by saying "and I'm not helping a pirate"
It's in the screenshot mate
they wanted to expell the doubt that you did directly state.
I'm not going to argue about this
It's pretty cut and dry lmao, there isn't even an argument to be had. You directly expressed doubts, they sent that to try to reassure you. That's all there is to it.
You're fine, but yeah, just play on your 3DS until you get a GPU that actually can handle emulation
Kinda sucks that that is the only answer we can give you but sometimes it really is just that simple
Well, that and give recommendations
Thanks, I just use the emulator for archiving my games in case the 3DS dies one day
