As stated above, I’m using a switch pro controller that DOES have motion controls (I tested on cemu with the games I owned) and for some reason, when I play Mario and Luigi dream team and try using it, it just doesn’t work. I’ve used the SDL thing where I press a button on my controller (which is connected via wire) and that did not work. I’m wondering if anybody could help fix this issue!

I used to use something... BetterJoyForCemu I think, that managed to fix gyro controls with the Switch Pro Controller on the emulator. I can't explain how I set it up originally as it was a long time ago and I don't remember it that well, but maybe you can figure it out.
I don't know if any better tool has been released since.
I use DS4windows, which also supports playstation and switch controllers, just select cemuhook and put in the server DS4windows gives you and the controller and it should work
Ok I’ll try that
Does it work when you have it connected via cord?
Cause it ain’t working for me
Yeah, I actually use my controllers wired since the Bluetooth doesn't work well on my laptop
Same here
See if the switch controllers are enabled in the settings
It's an emulated xbox 360 controller, DS4 is also made to do that
it still isnt working
hmmm
My controller is supposed to be a switch controller
because it connects with my switch
but i dont know why its doing this
Click the start button on bottom right tonstart the server
k it started
Then your controller should appear, if you've installed the drivers and restarted the system
ugh
You say you've enabled the switch controllers here yeah?
It's the device options inside the settings tab
After you've enabled them, stop and start the server
hmmmm
What if you go to your Windows settings and completely unpair the controller, and plug It back in?
Btw, is this an official pro controller? if not, then yeah, this thing might be failing because it's not official
So I’m guessing this is fake?
Ah, yeah that's not the official pro controller, that's the alterglow, licensed by Nintendo, but not the expected official pro controller
Since it's thirdparty it may not even have motion capabilities, not all thirdparty controllers do
I have motion controls on cemu
You can, you can use the right click on the window and input tilt that way
I would rather die before I do that tbh
Oh yea
I have official controllers
But their Bluetooth only
And my Bluetooth adapter just disconnects and reconnects and I haven’t been able to fix it so
Looks like I’ll have to buy a Xbox controller
Official controllers can be pluged in no problem
No like
They don’t have a usb c port
Or whatever
It’s just batteries
Yea I’m gonna buy a Xbox controller cause I don’t care about getting a official Nintendo controller
Because apparently it’s up to chance to get one tbh
This is the official pro controller, costs 70
Why's that?
I’m buying the switch 2
Because I bought those controllers at Walmart
Wait
Actually nvm
Welp
