Are Mods possible?

I just started using this Emulator recently and I discovered a mod that recreates Tyranitartube’s Extreme Randomizer of Alpha Sapphire. The only issue is that I can’t find a way to input the files. Even when I click files the specific files I’m looking for do not show up. I’ve never used an emulator up until now, and I’ve never modded anything before so I could be doing something wrong for sure, so I’d appreciate some guidance please!

Also is there a way to connect a wired controller to my computer to play these games lol

if it's a romfs patch right click the game -> open -> mods location and put the files there

You can make a profile with your controller binds there

I’m right clicking the game but nothing is happening? Do you mean the game running on the emulator? Or the file?

You need to be able to play alpha sapphire first before you mod it. How are you playing it?

When you dumped (extracted from the system/cartridge) your legal copy of your game from your modded 3ds, what did the dump come out as?

When I click it the game opens but I should be able to go back to the og file I had before I moved it there

I can’t find it. Could you tell me what options I could attempt if I do find it later depending on the type of file it is? I have to go so I can’t look at it rn. I understand if it’s a lot of/too much work, and I thank you for your help thus far

If it is a cci file: double click the azahar window and choose whatever folder the game is in (the desktop is a terrible place for this, so if it’s in the desktop folder, put it somewhere else)
If it’s a cia file: click file -> install cia and choose the game’s cia file

Does this work for putting a mod into an existing normal rom? That’s what I’m trying to do if I’m reading instructions right
