Hello! I've been trying to play mh4u multiplayer with my friends on both citra nightly and canary but we're prone to constant disconnects at random intervals (we still stay connected in the citra lobby, but in the game itself we disconnect) and I was wondering if either lime3ds fixes this or if this is an issue we'd need to fix, and in case of the latter, how we'd fix it.
Any help is appreciated!

@uneven frost
yes hello
I play online on Pokémon usum it seems to work perfectly
Maybe it s the game that is glitched
Yes, you're correct, I'm already aware of that too
Mario kart 7, yo kai watch blasters, etc all work perfectly
Yes then probably a game problem
yet for some reason mh4u has always had issues, even back a year or two ago when I tried to play with a different group
I never tried it idk what it’s like honestly
citra never fixed this issue, that's why I was asking if lime3ds had fixed this issue or found a workaround
nope
Oh cause I need help with something
yeah I saw the qr thing, but please try to remain on topic
(I'm not mad for clarity, I understand how sucky it is waiting for an answer)
Yes honestly I can’t help you did you are you doing the exact same things you do when you play online in other games ?
yes, of course
The multiplayer code has not been touched in Lime3DS to my knowledge.
So um
since the disconnects don't actually affect the room we're in (we all stay connected on citra, but not the game) would that mean that the improvements to the games themself would help?
If you are disconnecting in game but remain in the Citra room, going to bet it's an emulation issue. Improvements should fix it.
ok sweet
ok so update
we still randomly disconnect even with lime
same issue
we're still in the room too, just dc in game
it says i need to make an account to be able to create a room
???
ive been trying to create a room to play online with my friend
but it keeps giving me an error
how did you find the ip of the server
@uneven frost do you have any idea of how to fix it?
um, please make your own thread instead of messaging in mine, and you need to make it unlisted
So, MH4U has a funny coding in itself where if it senses even the slightest spike, regardless of what caused it and whatever happens, it'll cause disconnects or even split rooms. Not much you can do with it and sometimes it just likes to throw a temper about small things
