for GBA games, I'd recommend using mGBA since the officially released GBA games played on the 3DS are actually using the GBA backwards compatibly mode of the 3DS hardware which from what I'm aware isn't emulated at all in any currently available 3DS emulators

If you prefer GBA games on the 3DS, go use the physical hardware. There isn’t a 3DS emu that supports GBA compatibility.
