I feel like death bringer is just too much like a king but worse. Sure it is cheaper, but that still isn’t enough for it to be on par with it. Here is my idea
Give death bringer flying detection
Get rid of the summoning. Instead, make it so that whatever it kills it makes an “undead” version of it with up to half the hp of the thing it killed doenst apply to bosses. As it upgrades the cap of the hp a summon can have increases. For example, at level one, if it kills a 10k hp unit, it would only summon a unit with 1k hp since the cap would be at that. If there is anything you want me to change, tell me! I’m up for criticism:)
Edit: I feel like this would still be a little underwhelming at times, so to help it a little more ima say buff the damage by 35%-50%
