#Ashen ring as boss drop

Provide a way to obtain the ashen ring through ingame drops. Perhaps as a boss drop for the final boss in act 2 at a base drop rate of 1 in 100 or even higher.

Personally I have bought the pack, but I am a big supporter of every paid non cosmetic item being available through ingame methods.

I think this will also make people generally accept the pack more. People will still pay to get it early, but it being obtainable will be one less reason for people to turn away from the game after seeing an unobtainable item in a pack.

I definitely wouldn't be mad about this change either (also bought the ring). I think the main symptom is that there is no other ring that comes close to the utility it provides.

From a business perspective, it's good to have cash shop only items, but at the moment, the power disparity between the f2p obtainable rings and the ash ring is too big.

i dont desagree, but considering new players, killing the last boss of act2 100 times (sucking at rng), probably wont need ashen ring anymore
Just making a point, not desagreeing!
Maybe a lower vesion (1~3% of mob killed with 30 atk) as a reward from "light the bonfire" quest or after killing mammoth will be most efficiency for new players
Endgamer will use probably a event ring or mammoth III+

Same with sacrifices, they will also keep costing ashes and keep scaling up

Anyways the point was just that I would like to see it obtainable ingame, so I will not disagree with you. Where they place it would be up to their consideration, was just giving an example

fair enough!

My point in "wont need" its more about the massive amout of ashs in the beggining than that after passing act 2 last boss, after act 3 can be kept just burning bonfire at lower percent and still can upgrade sacrifices
But its Fair to be possible to obtain even not paying real money

Iike the idea of a paid version that's slightly better than a f2p version. That way f2ps don't miss out and the developers can still make some money for dev costs off it

I would actually go for a different approach, like having a far worse version of it dropping on mammoth

yeah a 1 in 100 ash instead of 1 in 10
