I managed to get a crash to desktop by selecting clips across two tracks and ctrl+d to duplicate them. It was a one off tho couldn't get it to crash doing the same thing.

ctrl-d is the bane of my life rn, just had a crash trying to move selected clips with the mouse too, i think its having an issue copying automation points

The good thing is these hard crashes seem to recover everything when launching Bitwig again. Word of advice tho; hit save before every move haha.

It's crazy tho because Bitwig 6 beta is the very first incarnation of Bitwig that I have ever experienced hard crashes from outside of the one time I made Bitwig v5.x crash by attempting to copy and paste 4 measures of a 1/65536 note drum roll for science.

Okay I found a scenario in a session to make it crash 100% of the time, or not crash 100% of the time. Reworked a first verse/hook and went to dupe it over the existing old second verse/hook = 100% crash. Deleted the second verse/hook THEN went to dupe everything over (ctr+d) and no crash.

yeah I just tried again in a testing session and the crash with copy/paste/dupe seems to be triggered when copying/pasting over existing clips.

I'm getting crashing when I'm copying and pasting using the Timeline Selection in the Arrange Window. Almost everytime now, it's very annoying and affects my workflow.

Interestingly, if I select several audio clips, hold *ctrl" and drag it to copy with a mouse, it doesn't crash. Only crashes with the Timeline selection tool.

yes, this appears fixed in b3 👍 . haven't been able to crash it with copy/paste/duplicate of any item type or time selection
