Hi, not sure if here I can ask for some knowledge but I'm having issues when using the arpeggiator with a random mod on arp transposition and then filtering notes with Key Filter (or map transpose). There are times where a note is lacking on the sequence (and Key Filter is on constraint not on filter mode). I'm new on bitwig (a day now xD), what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
#Arpeggiator + Key Filter = lacking some notes

what are inspector panel settings look like for arpeggiator?
My guess is that random modulator is creating notes not on a semitone and that is causing the issue.
I suggest looking for another way to accomplish what you are trying to do. Are you trying to randomize pitch of a specific step only?
Hi, thanks both for the answering
looks like this
And here an example of a recording os this behaviour. Seems like the skipped notes are played but with an ultra-short gate..
umm, yes could be but as far as I know, bitwig arp transposition work just on integer numbers, no? I'm pretty new here, so I could be totally wrong
I'm triying to randomize every step
Update: during all tests, I achieved one time all notes sounding without touch anything of original config. Very strange, but I think I've found the way to do that: turning off "allowoverlapping notes" on arp inspector panel. Now seems all notes are playing 🙂
I would think that it should've been the opposite, basically allow overlap is there in case you have max gate setting above 100%, which means steps would overlap. but then I'd expect them to overlap polyphonically
If you are trying to randomize the pitch of every step, you can put the Randomize Note FX device after the Arp.
Are you modulating the Gate amount?
yes, I thought that, that's why I didn't try to modify this option. Anyways, turning off works, so fixed. Thanks you!
yes, this way seems more easy haha thanks!
