Bitwig always sends CLAP events and CLAP note expressions. Which is strictly better than MPE MIDI, but the CLAP JUCE extension doesn't support CLAP note expressions out of the box.

They've added support for CLAP note expressions (which, again, is better than MPE), Bitwig currently simply does not send MPE MIDI for CLAP plugins at the moment.

The clap version also has graphical weirdness on my M1 Mac. Specifically the zoom size. It’s so small I can’t read it at 40%. Anything larger than that will make the UI disappear from my screen

Yeah very annoying that MPE doesn't work in CLAP with V 1.5.3. Hope Matt fixes it soon.
