I have the othe NPC heads aswell but kinda hard to put the textures together when the faces all look like this
they all kinda look the same
i can use default textrue (not shaders) and try improve it in substance
but you can send me all textures and head models maybe its possible to assemble it in photoshop
i saw those textures in photoshop you have to make separate alpha mask. or export textures as tga
in default photoshop loads .png with transparency applied

About diffuse texture
RGB - Base color
Alpha - Subsurface scattering -
About normal map.
Red - Red channel of normal
Green - Green channel of normal (You dont have to invert it)
Blue - bump map or\and displace texture
Alpha - AO

You dont have to use bump texture, you can just connect normal map, but mixing both gives you more details
but how do i fix the eyes missing texture
this is probably fault of author, he missed with pack of texture for it
you for now can only replace textures from other games (texture or ever eyeballs)

I think heads here are made that they can be used on any body model to have randomise effects
thats what they intended but scrapped
Was designed to have random generated NPC names and faces for immersion that the crew rotates between mission when your on ICE for god knows how long
but was a scrapped mid development
the NPC names on their subtitles will randomaly generate between missions and the DO has 3 different faces
but other than names and DO face it wasnt implemented further
I think skin tone color changes a bit in ship master because on my friend ship looks darker than on my ship
possibly there is a skin tone slider in-game for certain things
but it may be your friends brightness or reshade
No i mean i saw different tones by myself. When i was on his ship and on mine
Put a gamma filter on the texture. Put Gamma 2.2 or .47. It achieves a similar effect to putting something as non-color like for normal textures. Sometimes it is nessary to put two of thems

Also i mentioned before here that you can use alpha of diffuse texture as a mask to make it more "white" which also adds details like dirt etc where just gamma can remove some stuff which we dont see exactly on gif

I don't post assets sadly. I have monetization stuff relying on me to not post assets and I wouldn't mind getting permission, but I'd rather let sleeping dogs lie since I do a lot of copyright vs. copyright stuff.

No, a CRAP TON of the models in the game either have multiple copies of the same mesh ontop of itself, displays ALL LODs on the base mesh or other junk.

You can't see it because the game uses non-raytracing lighting system but Eevee does and Cycles does.
Probably also hase anti-z-fighting culling as well which means it doesn't appear in game but in blender causes messes
i mention about that. its from game i never saw stuf like that but i think this is just bug
yeah 100% bug. That one specifically is the game rendering all LODS on base mesh.
If you export that armor rn it has that spare mesh.

this is a short normal completer. It takes the normal data for some normals that use the Z channel for stuff like edge-wear or ambient oclusion
then completes it to fix issues

actually here's the basic shader for the eyepatch. this is the same as like 99% of static materials. The middle one is the blue texture that has tool data
btw alpha of albedo not looks like specular and if yes then specular is inverted roughness

Not the most masterfully done. I'm a dumbass in the shading math department, but it looks pretty good. If you have issues with textures remember color space and then gamma correction
gives a pretty good result
this is what the color of the face is like in game, but I gamma corrected it white because I thought it may have been the original intention before a glitch changed his skin tone
not all faces have gamma correction, but all face look pretty hq when done through an actual rendering negine. they are clearly facial scans lightly changes

That just affects the base color, putting it into the mix shader affect the entire thing as a fake shadow.

where you get the eye textures and head model?
use diver or file diver to export. hash names to find
what are the ids?
(for the eye texture, ship master model and face texture, service tech model and face)
omg bruh I told you look in hash names go "in:hash-name head" in the little search bar

But just got fixed in todays update funnily enough

Eyebtexture in general is low quality one, also normal makes weird hole in the middle, better to use other textures from other games in my opinion

yeah it's what I found of the 8,000+ textures prolly spent a few hours looking
I can say i have some grouped heads textures but not all, also i think some of diffuse textures uses 2 or more different normal maps
Upon further experimenting all the female crew share the ship masters head
And face

Hmm when i look on all shipmaster/captain characters on the ship then looks simmilar (specially when there js no male shipaster/captain uniform)
BUT
Do you remember female technican? That one which you could talk to? She had different face
Yes she did
But when I messed with ship master yesterday while giving her a Christmas hat I messed up and I noticed all the females got nuked
One in the command center guarding the door is 100% her twin for sure
Btw you can put any face texture on any head

I know the Demo officer and ship master heads are different in-game as i had to give em hat seperaetly
and thus all females got hat from Sip masters head
for the males I did something different and replaced the hat they already wear instead of remodeling the head

it's what AH does is make place holders a 1x1 pixel

Also take those 10 heads textures which i already groupped and should be good to use (I did it manually so maybe i did some mistakes)
Those only 10 (With democracy officer) for now becasue those are not all of them
I've been messing with the NPCs more so I might be able to do the bodies and stuff now

I went through that civilian blends post but got 0 pings on the textures IDs
NPCs like those in the city uses just one texture for body, here on this server someone published those with texture so look there
