as a 3D artist, a sliced up simple GS is way easier to make than a detailed model. it wont even be hard to animate if they really want to cut corners with it. but I get the thinking of them not having to necessarily add extra animations to some of the entries. like the IG entries were extremely simple design wise

Cat ears are random here but also proves cat ears work with everything
