The Anja helm seems a bit too bright and blue compared to the rest of the armor, but I assume that's just how the Guardian markings on it are like.

the amount of bare skin might be less out of place if you swapped one of them out and i'd probably go with the legs but i can't think off the top of my head what the best replacement would be

Plus the theme of the build was markings on the body which is why I chose the g.ark pieces, but I also equipped the undershirt because the black really helps contrast the color of the markings from my character’s skin

Undershirt really changes the context of armor, surprisingly. My own early gathering set used the fem Leather Boots as a result, just because they look nicer in gray tights rather than the masc version's white pants.

Same for the Chainmail Chestplate, thinking about it.

ok yeah i think it might be done for until title updates and new monster gear the only viable have options i think would be less arm coverage for more visible tattoos or changing the legs but neither work well which leaves a cool concept that right now is just mediocre gooner fashion i guess

maybe if capcom locked in and added better innerwear it would be worth using

Idk the inner wear (in my opinion) can really make or break this type of set. I do understand what you mean but I think if you mess around with the inner wear colors a bit you can really get something that sticks

I usually find that a slightly bright black fits rather than full on zero brightness

it's just not a texture that works with enough gear. chain or the more visible look of this fabric which they reuse a ton would work so well

an issue i ran into was that i feel like the top half is too naked in comparison to the lower half. with the rathian waist, it kinda covers up too much to the point where you need more coverage for the upper half or less coverage lower so i ended up removing it and trying this which had issues

i think souls fashion is so limited mainly to match the tone of the world i guess and not break the atmosphere i suppose?

with MH things are more colorful and lighthearted in design and worldbuilding all around so it gives leeway for the fashion to be more expansive

while with souls everything is so bleak most of the time that even a little bit of color would look out of place
