Well... I've been playing on and off for the past few weeks.
Done a blossom only run. I hadn't delved into any mixed techniques so this feedback is for pure blossom. (basically vow of blossom run)

I really enjoyed the new setup, the way every blossom halves itself for decay and the later abilities to earn more decay for a slow but very powerful fungal build up is better than it how I used to collect over 300 frags for a finisher.

That being said, a few things need either fixing or reworking.

  • **Fatal Flora: ** Starting with the big one. Fatal Flora for me for some reason it only focused on preventing Iron Blossoms from halving. I have no idea if I'm doing something wrong here, and if there's a way to direct it into another type of blossom, or if it's meant to go to irons first for some reason. Either way, it doesn't match the description, or it's bugged. Not that I minded it that much, having iron blossoms locked in the 90 allowed for an OP Crushing undergrowth, and a cross Pollination spam for a sweet 90 razors...

  • Vicious Bloom: I don't know what that technique is doing at the pillar creation level, it's beyond useless. even fully upgraded, I don't see any usage for it. It gives 3 razors and 3 toxics and at pillar creation that just weak. At a full upgrade it gives either 5 razors or 5 toxic and 3 from the other which again... too weak. I'd get more output from an upgraded Cross Pollination (+17 each x3=51) and an upgraded Seed Razor Rose (+7=58) with a Toxic Petalage finisher than I would from a full stance of Vicious Bloom and Toxic Rose (+5 each x6=30) with an upgraded Seed Toxic Rose (+8=38). I can't think of a single stance that makes it worth using. Even ending it with a Toxic Petalage, I still get less than a Cross Pollination... It's beyond useless, and it needs a buff or a change.

Optional suggestion: Make Vicious Bloom double toxic/razor petals like cross pollination, and change cross pollination to iron/radiant petals.

Regarding Fatal Flora:
Neither does it not do what the description says, nor is it bugged.
You're simply misunderstanding how it works.

Whenever you get any amount of stacks of Fatal Flora, the next instance of blossom that is being created (no matter where it comes from, be it due to passive production, masteries, or directly through a technique) will turn ALL of those Fatal Lora stacks you have into typed Fatal Flora stacks for that type of blossom.

So you probably have the buff going that passively produces iron blossoms every technique. This will of course cause the Fata Flora you get to immediately turn into Fatal Flora (Iron Blossoms) and that's all they will protect.

If you work with Fatal Flora, you definitely do NOT want to have any passive production of blossoms and also not any production due to masteries.

So yeah, trying to use Fatal Flora with more than one type is very difficult as you need to be in full control of your blossoms production.

Yep! Just managed to create a Razor Fatal Flora.
Damn, been going crazy about what I was doing wrong.
Thanks a lot! ❤️

The description can use something like (passive regeneration happens first)

It's all in the wording

#

"Before each Technique" will happen before the technique does anything

#

"After each Technique" will happen after the technique does what it does

#

So passive generation can happen both before or after the technique, it really depends on the generator.

While I agree with you 100% that the wording is correct.
Having a more elaborate text for people who aren't... ahem... lawyers... 😅 can make things simple. It won't be harmful at the very least...
I've been playing for hours, and tried taking a crack at it a few times and tried to arrange techniques with different flora before the fatal flora to make it work and couldn't figure it out till you pointed it out.

Then again, could be just a me thing.

Yeah the tooltips are a long standing trouble point for lyeeedar.
They have to be short, but also clear, which is a very difficult thing to do.

That being said, I also wouldn't know how the tooltip could be better... it does say exactly what it does. It's just that you need to remember yourself that other techniques can interact with it with their "before each technique do X" parts...

Only thing I could think of would be some dedicated "Manuals" that for their flavor text have a good explanation for the way Fatal Flora works... or something like that...
