Hey @umbral walrus, welcome to Drive Beyond Horizons support channel!

Can you use the "Share Informations" button please? And if possible, share a clip of the Bonphiac save?
DBH Build Number: (top left corner, in game)

Your OS Version: 26200.8246

AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics (486 MB)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 6-Core Processor (3.80 GHz)
RAM: 16 GB
In-Game Graphics Preset: any (potato as of now)
give me a few seconds for the clip. i stil gotta figure that out
i hope this helps...
Do you have this Bonphiac saved to a CTRL+S Terminal?
it wont let me do that.
How old is this save? (If you had to guess)
i made it not even a wekk ago? maybe?
I assume it won't let you save the car just because of the terrible fps?
correct
Could you please turn on the Steam overlay and do a recording, we need to see what's happening with your system when it's lagging like that.
To turn it on you press Shift+Tab while in game.
Here's the specific overlay we want to see:
of course, give me a few minutes to feed my animals.
it takes like 15 minutes to get past the loading screen, and when i do i crash.
i think i have a clip?
nvm
Was this save only in Single player or Did you have this in a Multiplayer lobby?
Once you get in and get a clip, could you please try removing the attachments from the vehicle and see if it increases your FPS, and if not, start removing parts from the front of the car first and work your way to the back. Thanks.

Ignore that message ^^
Did you try loading into an earlier save version from Save History?
previously, yes. same results.
Try going back a save 1 by 1 till one of them loads normally.
If you see the FPS on load menu sitting under 10fps during loading, just Alt+F4 and try an earlier save from that.
But, Was this save only in Single player or Did you have this in a Multiplayer lobby at som epoint?
Did you ever at any point install an UAZ front bumper bullbar on the car by chance?
strictly bonphiac parts (except the seats on the back).
i can get my fifth save working with 45-58 FPS.
but my car is in shambles...
removing the minifan on the top makes the game run so much better
Was there anything specific you did between those save that it could have started the bad FPS?
Keep in mind, each extra item and part you put on the car will reduce fps slightly.
So if you have a full trunk of stuff, it would decrease a lot of performance for example.
i got nothing in the trunk, nor the seats.
removing the minifan added about 5 FPS
removing more doesnt do anything
any parts different from the worst fps save and the best?
the whole back bumper
and lights
thanks for the help, im fine with building the car again.
