[latent tide]

Is multiplayer just unplayable the lag the cars flying things not loading in. Or is it just my fiance and I issues 😭😭

Make sure you've set your graphics settings according to your hardware. This will be a big impact, especially as the Host PC for multiplayer session.
You do not want to set everything to Potato, as that will reduce your GPU utilization, and with multiplayer active will bottleneck your CPU. Check the graphics settings here: #1445413297699684433 message
Also keep in mind, if you're hoarding parts and items, and towing multiple vehicles, the more items you have around you, the less FPS you'll have.

By "flying cars" I'm assuming you have more than 2 being towed at once.
Especially if you're experiencing empty POIs with nothing spawned, means you're holding on to to much stuff, where the world will stop spawning in any my more loot due to limitations on available resources (would explain your issues too).
