#What counts as too much gore?

I wonder if this sort of thing would be a good way to do it
The goal is to just avoid detailed, realistic, visceral, shocking "gross out gore".
Your idea sounds totally feasible to me. Just aim for some stylization or humor to offset any gross-out/shock factor.
Feel free to share a screenshot or something and I can give feedback.
Thanks for the clarification! Yeah I was just wondering of the limits, what I'd be making definitely wouldn't be visceral or gross.
I like that idea but I don't think that'd work to well with my concept. I saw this animation a loooooong time go about a dude who was hired to burn regrowing flesh off of this giant creature that fell to earth that is immortal and constantly regenerates. So I thought I'd base my game off that, overall idea is that you'd have to keep the creature from regenerating too much and he's just a giant skeleton in a facility. Won't give too much away about the gameloop but thats the idea.
So I think more of a cartoony like sludge-like flesh and bone thing would be good. Not a lot of detail or much blood and veins.
haha sounds like a fun concept! I think you're on the right track with the gore stuff. For this game concept it sounds like it can be "gross" but in a good way, if that makes sense. Looking forward to seeing what you cook up π₯
is blood ok should I tone it down?
This is totally fine π
Just a quick question ππ§
But does this counts as too much?
Just asked that to myself now
Absolutely not, that's just really cool π
Thnks, I appreciate it
