Hello, i would like to add more info to this thread
Its not only for the bread
If you grab something and let go you hand's collisions will be disabled for some seconds and that is why you cant pat the bread you just need to wait some secs
This bug i think it was from the launch

After review, it is different than the typewriter issue that has been fixed. The problem is that you are too quick to pat it with your hand. The grabbing system has a failsafe to prevent items from flying about being hit by your hand when you just released something, so the collisions are turned off on the hand until it detects it isn't touching anything for a split second. In your case in the video, you try to smash the bread as soon as you release the pan if you give half a second between the release of the pan and the smacking of the bread, it should work!
