If a post is answered by one of these question in the FAQ it maybe locked unless its adding to that idea.

This is mainly a list of things people are suggestions that we either denied or are already planned

**Q: Will there be DLC sharing where the host is the only one who has to own DLC content in order to play said DLC level **

A: No. Due to a limitation of the Meta storefront DLC sharing is something that won’t be happening. (The DLC is inexpensive as well and is not required to enjoy the game)

Q: add anything related to drugs or interacting with the product

A: no.
Doing so would require the game to be re-evaluated by the age rating board and a bump from rated T to M. And that just isn't happening and the devs have expressed no interest in doing so

To make this completely clear. Real world drugs will never be added to Prison Boss Prohibition. Any threads related to this will be locked

Q: I want to be able to select what factions I will be playing with

A: Not planned but would be suitable for a customisable runs system

Q: I want to be able to attack cops

A: This is unlikely to be added. (For the same reason as drugs and or product interaction)

Q. Add custom seeds

Way to big of a task for an indie studio

Q: Make the game cheaper/DLC cheaper

A: Not going to happen

Q: Make the game free for a weekend

A: Not going to happen

Q: Implement interactive tutorials like in the original prison boss

A: Not really doable due to the amount of items.
Recipe pinning is the best your going to get

Q: Add a creator program

A: It already exists. Sadly underutalised due to a lack of creators who are willing to do repeat uploads about this game

Q: is there threshold of upvotes before something is approved

A: no it’s based on if this feature should be in the game. Upvotes do play a role tho

Q: Please make the game free or cheaper

A: Never going to happen wait for a sale or a giveaway or better yet save up some money and buy it in the future.

Q: let me craft bombs so I can throw them at people

A: NO. I am not even kidding that would be a horrific idea and Meta would want to absolutely atomise Trebuchet if that were to happen. Plus it may cause some serious controversy due to nature of the game.

Q: I want the old name back

A: Not happening. The new name will be staying since it will help attract new players to the game due the game having a more generic name now. Player counts have not been looking great.

Section 2: Some basic guidance on suggestion quality

As a general rule of thumb, Always provide detail in your suggestions.
As a pro tip please use autocorrect when writing your suggestions since it helps them be more coherent when reading back. Its not required but its something to keep in mind

DISCLAIMER:

If a suggestion is deemed to be “Low quality” it will be deleted.
This mainly relates to joke suggestions or things that don’t fit the game at all along with repeat suggestions. Also suggestions that are** poorly explained or lack detail** will fall under the "Low quality" suggestion policy.

As a note any suggestions that involve things that were technologically impossible during the prohibition era/post world war 2 will be Rejected due to the game being themed around that era. This era is from between 1920 and 1933. Unless there's a way to twist the idea in order for to work within that time period then its going to get rejected on that basis. Of course this is not an absolute time period there is some leeway with things that would make technological sense if they were invented earlier.

This does extend to factions as well mainly related to factions that don’t thematically make sense during this era.

Some things to include with specific suggestion types.

If something is not included in this list then write it how you see fit.

If something from this list is not included we may ask for you to expand on your suggestion just so the devs know have a greater understanding of the concept your pushing forward.

Maps
Try to include the following in your initial post
-Factions (Not completely required but highly recommended to help theme your level if the theme is unclear)
-New crafts
-Any unique mechanics tied to crafting
-Map theme (Like where it takes place)

New craft categories
Try to include some basic ideas on what could be made

New craft
Explain the process of how to make it and the ingredients required

When creating a suggestion feel free to use aspects of another persons suggestion in your own suggestion.
I would advise that you provide credit though just in case someone gets offended by you using it.
For instance if your suggestion a new map you could use someone else's faction idea in your map.

Making suggestions is a collaborative work within the community its not a winner takes all type of deal. We as a community provide ideas that we can all independently iterate on. Having that community spirt can help create some truly unique and fun gameplay. Which is what we all want in the end.

TLDR: Feel free to use other peoples ideas when creating your own one. Just provide credit to the person who your basing your idea off
