#disconnected cooperative panel
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
We've had a few reports of this recently. We're working on a fix ASAP
Ok, thanks for your work 😋
Can you provide more details on what your brother sees exactly? Are you both playing on your Quest headsets or is one of you using a Quest headset on Steam?
Perhaps if you can submit a video it would help. We have a crossplay issue between PCVR and Quest at the moment, but your issue seems a bit different.
🎉 Update: The original bug related to this duplicate has been resolved!
This issue was identified as a duplicate of Cross-play between Steam and Quest is broken: the lobby doesn't allow the 2 players to join together. (#7), which has now been fixed.
Thank you to everyone who reported this bug - your reports helped prioritize the fix! 🙌
The status of the issue has been changed to New.

(I messed up the bug linking, I don't think your issue is fixed)
Well, we both play meta quest, but I play on the 3rd and he on the 2nd, it works well for me, it shows me everything that the cooperative panel should have, on the other hand he doesn't, he puts it offline and also only an option to add a friend appears, but nothing appears when I put my code and the player tabs that appear are empty their names
Alright, there seems to be some internet connection issue. Can you ask your friend to double check his connectivity? Is it possible he has a fairly strict firewall?
If you can ask him to screenshot his UGS ID (shown in the pause menu at the bottom) as well as the game version (shown at the top of the pause menu), we'll look into the cloud diagnostic tool if we can see what is the error that might happen to block his sign-in in our Unity Cloud Save and Social system.
Thanks for the screenshot! It has been attached to the issue.

I'm sorry but this isn't the screenshot I needed. 🙁 Your friend needs to go in a solo game, and open the pause menu (where he will see the option to save and quit to hideout), there will be displayed the version number and the UGS ID. I'm sorry for the trouble of going back in, but we'll look into this next week if you are able to send us this over the week-end!

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. You do not seem to have a UGS ID at all, it aligns with the "not connected" UI since this shows up when the game is unable to connect to the UGS service.
On which platform are you playing? Is it on Steam or natively on Quest?
we are playing directly in quest
Do you know if you have a very restrictive router that could block some of those network queries? Maybe try this to validate if that theory is valid:
- On your phone, disconnect from your home wifi (turn off wifi entirely) for example
- Enabling mobile hotspot on your phone and configure a network name and password (it will allow your Quest to use your phone's LTE/5G network).
- connect your headset to it
- Launch the game and see if you have connection to the internet.
Also, in which country are you based?
I've been trying several things. My friend doesn't have the game, at least not on the account he uses, since he has it shared with his brother's main account. Could that be why his online experience is failing? The multiplayer panel does work on his brother's account.
Thanks for clarifying. We've not tried the local share account mode, but if his brother uses the same headset and the game works for him, that must be the cause of the issue! We do not have bandwidth to actively support the local sharing of games on Quest. Would it be possible for him to use his brother's account when playing with you?
Probably not, the brother is very annoying, but I'll try to please him with his own version, thank you very much. 🤪
Something has to be done about this annoying brother, but thanks for helping your friend out! 😛
