10.5 had rukia, was bashed initially, she's ok now and is quite interesying but it still baffles me why the absolute zero effects arent just a hover window + reimu oversight was embarassing
11.0 killed balance with kafka, everything else was ok, but kafka is inexcusable and did permanent damage on the game
11.5 was also very nice
12.0 killed balancing with naruto and pain

if there's some new ability or power associated to g5 it's unlikely to translate well as a passive

only thing that limits vfs is the quantity of passives but i dont think devs ever said there is a limit to that

so if he remains g5 but gets new abilities i don't see a problem w vfs solving that at all

they dont get new attacks, abilities, etc, one of the passives is always a damage and range buff and the remaining passives are pretty simple

by design they are meant to be low effort

madara was made at large to help the ninjutsu team, which he does, he is a great unit cause he places himself for free with the upgrades of whatever unit was brought on with ninjutsu, he has some good utility but he is mostly just a damage based vanguard, but to do that damage you would still run the ninjutsu team cause that doubles his damage and can spam the whole map with slumber and burn constantly, with the only cooldown being the ninjutsu ability
