Idk why but its genuinely not working for me I had to go to the legend stage to kill demon hunter and get him but when keep killing demon hunter it wont work even in legend stages

I worded it wrong but what I had to do was go to legend stage to kill demon hunter with demon hybrid to get it but when trying to complete the quest but when trying to kill demon hybrid with demon hybrid it wont give me the kill

Yes I made sure of it because I did that once but I redid it and got the kill but I have been killing all the bosses with him makeing sure nothing else kills the bosses because I have monarch
