I've seen it requested to make a return and after this most recent update (11.5) i think there's a real reason to return them. here are the things i would add, change or remake (this is kind of long so be prepared)
-
buffed rewards. were in a new era of av since the last achievement was added. increased rewards like gems, trait and mem rrs should be adjusted.
-
Add 1-3 Achievements every update. adding multiple achievements every update wont just incentivize evolving the unit. it will actually make the player want to use the unit so they can finish there achievements.
3.Add that respective units Memoria inside the achievement. with the 11.5 update. all 3 bleach inspired units don't have a unique way of getting there Memoria. from how i at least understand it, Memoria is supposed to be a way to add more content into the game and have more "rewarding" checkpoints. simply just evolving the unit and getting the Memoria isn't really fulfilling that in my opinion. for a example on how this would work lets use Aizen from this update. after evolving Aizen, instead of you just getting the Memoria. you would have to finish all of your achievements and then you can unlock the Memoria.
- try to make the achievements unique to the character. instead of how it is now being "get ---- takedowns" or "win -- times", make the achievements unique to the character itself. using Aizen for example again. there could be a quest like" use Aizen's revive and win in the same stage" and or "stun -- enemies with ability "shattered illusions" "
in short, what I'm asking for:
Achievements returning with buffed rewards, added more frequently, make them unique to each unit, and make Memoria the main reward of the achievement.
it will:
add more incentive to actually USE the new units (and possibly use old units to finish there achievements)
fresh change in gameplay
new fun ways to give Memoria out that fulfills (in my opinion) its original purpose
PS: I'm not asking for EVERY unit added to be added to achievements. for example in a hypothetical 6 unit update. 3 units could have achievements and the other 3 don't.
