It wasnt but look at how long it took for the skin to actually become a thing

Due to royalty etc, communicating with the artist , iirc that artist was working with another game at the time and that posed some problems as well

Updates alr take long enough as is

in big part was due to the jjk dmca and focus being on that and the absurd amount of anniversary units

this is an issue tho yea, wish they'd let the community atleast have a poll vote for which character they make the skins for, or atleast 1 of the 2 tournament skins

I'm sure alone the concepts for remodels is gonna have a buncha royalty issues aswell etc, and artists working with other games etc etc the list goes on for issues especially legal ones

Jjk dmca woudlve not affected them, as they werent in a rush to fix it, Anni units coudlve affected them. But they were talking about it before to testers and those were the things I brought up

I thought I recalled somebody on the dev team saying the jjk units were in part what affected the skin taking so long, might have remembered wrong tho but yea those are bigger issues (royalty, communication etc)
