shinies arent supposed to be like skins you can equip and take off whenever you want, theyre a different variation of a unit

theyre similar in the sense that theyre cosmetics yes but what would be the point of shinies if the regular and shiny version of a unit were the same

if you dont like the shiny, normalize it

youre complicating the mechanic for the sake of "value"
