Using escanor is literally A afk simulator and having monarch unit is too specially below 1.5 cost, you can literally just place em and they beat the stages.

Escanor can't beat all stages, shields exist and revitalize and plus you gotta click escanor's transformation and "burn" ability button every time

The only thing you can't afk with escanor is just GG legend and aot.
And auto upgrade literally is the same thing as using escanor, you need to press the auto upgrade button on your unit every time you get in the stages, literally the same as burning the unit.
And yeah even if its auto upgrading you still need to press the unit ability so its not afk simulator.

If the current state of the game (playing 25 stages of odyssey repetitively) is good for you, then go play it I won’t judge.
