how to save VFs:

vanguard familiar every 3 weeks for units that have no chance for an evo (cha-in, lancer, akaza)
vanguard familiars now give an extra upgrade with a new aoe and or skill, reworked passives, possibly gives new ability
nerf vf shop, and buffs rerolls across the board everywhere else
specialized vf quests (cha-in: assist SJW/VSJW with x kills, etc)
