Reality of the situation is why spend 2 weeks making a brand new gamemode when simply making a familiar for a unit people like will perform way better even if grind for said familiar is 30 minutes of odyssey for 5 days.

1. He could have, but the devs still maintain their "double evos are special and will only be given to vanguard units for the time being" stance, in which case Obito 2nd evo becomes way less realistic imo. Also tbh the point of these IS to appease the community, and it seems to be working, no?
2. Honestly I don't think any limited units including vanguards should be made meta months after they were last obtainable, but I guess people are dumb and do want this to happen.
3. I don't think Tengen could've been a part of DS upd ngl, he doesn't do anything in the movie. Plus I think he was 3rd in the original poll, hence he was next in line after Sukuna or smth (poll bugged out).

I don't think theyre lazily done per se, all the familiars have had very good kits so far that have hit the mark. I also understand theyre not als and cant just give every unit an evolution especially now.

But i do think the frequency of them is getting a bit out of hand.

It's fine right now because the game is on it's high tide but when problems arise people will also start complaining about the fact that most people don't have enough resources to spend on like 4/5 different units and update not even considering vanguard familiars.

Also the devs being fully random about how many VFs are added every update is a bit questionable.
