For a lot of moments in dragon ball it's hard to go super duper unique with their design, their skilled fighters with cool attacks not really powers.

Crit = Powerful, that's all I can assume.

5.0 Vegito was 1 - 1 the Dokkan 10th anniversary unit, so it didn't need to rely on Crits as it had other mechanics (Tag switch and Counter Taunt)

When they eventually do UI Goku, they most likely will just make him a dodging character who counter attacks.
