Event banner pity resetting before hitting pity

I rolled Escanor from summer event today and I still had 10k spins left before pity hit, though it says [Pity reached]
This did not happen the first time I rolled escanor and ive joined multiple servers including ps and it hasn't changed

getting the vanguard removes the pity

you might be right and it was visual but it was counting down since summer event dropped when I first got him

Yeah I pulled him 2 days after the event and it reset to 20k and started counting down

again

Correct, the pity is a one time thing so if you get the vanguard before pity the pity goes away
