like you could transfer a shiny Goku to a normal goku so the non-shiny goku is now the shiny rather than the original
you couldn’t transfer shiny Goku to shiny escanor or some crazy shit
the reason people want shiny transfer is because you shouldn’t have to spend loads of time and resources on essentially a cosmetic change just so that you can use ur shiny rather than letting it rot in your inventory or wearing the cosmetic when you already have triple godly stats w/ monarch on the non-shiny version of the unit
