new priority settings, which would allow for more in-depth enemy targeting and more control over our units. it would work something like this.
There would be two Priority options. Sub-Priority, and Priority.
Sub Priority
- Bosses
- Non-Slowed
- Slowed
- Stun
- Non-Stun
- Freeze
- No Freeze
- Shield
etc. etc. (you get the point)
Priority
- First
- Last
- Closest
- Strongest
- Weakest
What does this do?
Having a Sub-Priority & Priority Settings would allow us to further control our units without making it micromanage hell. if the “Sub-Priority” condition is met, it will attack said enemy. if the condition is not in range (example, boss) it will attack regular priority (example, last.) this would be extremely useful for supports as it would help them apply their status effects more reliably, and would help units such as buu who relies on kills, vergil who relies on hitting frozen/stunned/timestopped enemies, etc.
Examples:
“Sub-Priority: Burning”
“Priority: Strongest”
this would make the unit attack enemies that are burning. if there are no units burning, this unit will attack strongest. (good for units like alibaba who want to attack burning enemies to activate his passive)
“Sub-Priority: Non-Slowed”
“Priority: Last”
this would make the unit attack enemies that do not have slow applied. if every enemy in range is slowed, this unit will attack last. (good for units like weather report who want to constantly keep everyone slowed)
