ALS restocks all of their shops (except for raids) every few days meanwhile AV has had shops sitting there without a restock for over 8 months

The devs did mention something to do with accessing old battlepass units. I think it'd be a cool system for battle passes to have a level 51-75 where grinding old content like old raids and legend stages which would incentivise playing old content

Raid units were .5 upd units and ig they just wanted to drop collector units that make people wanna grind for them while they make the .0 upds
Hence why they are absurdly grindy like cid since it buys the devs a lot of time to make content
