I love comparing AV to ASTD, ALS, AWTD, FGO and Pokemons 😭 but all said is true imo. Like, honestly, "variety" we get is "this modifier blocks meter units!". Oh well, then ig i just have to use units without meter? I said it once, and i'll say it again, but why does "varity" comes with ban system instead of buff system. I don't think it's so hard to make a modifier like "Ambush", that, for example, let enemy debuff solo units, but receive more damage from allied units (like, Eren + Zeke being on map = AoT team and so they both deal more damage). And that'd have been cooler for Ackerman's mechanic of unique placement. Tho don't know bout new difficulty

Maybe that's why i dislike the idea of difficulty that does pretty much a job of "lock most rng mechanics" (traits, familiars, tho idk if it's that hard for people to get all slots)

AoT EX stage has 15% chance for Eren, I’d say that’s mad tuff

They just need to find their balance between technicality and repetition because i think all future ex stages should be designed around how erens is now

Like for baiken they coulda done it so not only is ex stage a higher chance for the bottle, but it grants 2-3 the original kills rather then just the one (so the quest progresses faster) where as stage 3 would have had a 15% for bottle and only granted one the original kill
