The cid raid is super fun and I want more stuff like this just let me do the hard mode solo too, the string mechanic should only be there in multiplayer, more stages like Cid raid would be so much fun

Just needs to be more rewarding
I’d much prefer having to do one challenging but enjoyable run that over doing a hundred runs in order to get a good amount of loot, but I guess av is too far deep to completely revamp their whole entire game so instead of changing every mode in the game to cater to the player base they should add a mode where completing one single run will give u a substantial amount of rewards

i feel like the aot ex stage drop rates were reasonable

and everyone thinks that monarch kaguya is required for it for some reason
Its a combination of that and making people who can’t grind with the EX stage feel extremely punished and inefficient
yeah tbh they shouldve just made it so only the ex stage drops it

cuz the aot units r so stupidly buffed that u can win traitless with a bit of skill
Highly debatable, i personally like that they made it optional but grinding eren in act 3 just feels so slowww especially when the option to get him so much faster is RIGHT there but i can’t beat it reliably

And that was one of the biggest problems with it
Aside from the difficulty
The fact it was hard locked to EX
Should have made the drop chance lower for eren and added an exclusive mount,title cosmetic etc for completing it a handful of times imo

i still believe that they should force the players to play a difficult stage thats still possible to solo without monarchs
I think AoT EX stage had the right idea with reasonable drop rates, but the thing that sucked about it is you need AoT units to be able to solo it comfortably.
I don't see how that's a problem
It's a fitting incentive to actually get and evolve the units
it's a problem or let's just say not what most players want because it needs you to ditch your whole team and play the AoT units just because of this stage.
Unless you can convince me that this team will be a long term meta for the next several updates, there's not enough incentive to actually go for these units
Units like Byeken although needed EX stages to be done mandatorily (which has been a glaring negative aspect of 6.0) still fits well as a support in a lot of teams, tournaments included.
i don't know ive seen alot of people that say "new characters feel like collection toys and nothing more, they don't help to progress" or whatever
maybe they took it very seriously
and did this
a good use case of the AoT team is for newer players because they can get a decent team which doesn't revolve around monarch. Except for units like Eren or Ymir which need to be grinded in the first place
But I am wondering if there's a noticeable proportion of players (with no meta monarch) who are actually benefitting of it.
no one uses aot characters, they are just too niche/require too much managing

aot units are not viable, like no one can get eren, zeke and ymir to max in a normal match, the rumbling is the most useless active ever

tbh I just don't like enemy meter mechanics
cuz a lot of units has meter

nerfing meter based units ... the issue with it i feel is that its too broad. Cuz a lot of units use them.
There was a mutator which nerfed summons... which even though it nerfed VSJW was still acceptable because it was limited to a few units only.
If they made the mutator as "Decrease all meter gains by 50-75%" that would have been a better option as you can instead work on black spirits or smth else to mitigate it rather than outright make it unusable
i would change apporach overall
instead of modifiers butchering units mechanics
i would rather them do something like btd6
incorporate elementals in more than 1 way
steel enemies which can only be hit with fire or whatever
in my eyes its much less annoying to deal with
and maybe even more fun

elemental reactions from portals are completely gone

elemental reaction system was the most annoying thing to deal with ever
it wasnt simple like i want it to be, it was unnecessarily complex and didnt make sense at all
reactions did not correlate with elements used in it
