I'm gonna say it now, new traits are almost certainly not coming to the table. Anything that's supposed to increase buff potency or affect swap meters or affect summons or whatever else is something to be remedied by familiars. They're a bit more farmable, controllable, and adaptable than traits ever would be. Especially because they don't bloat the trait pool with things that would be otherwise useless to get on a unit. And some of them are just straight up unbalanced by concept, like Duplicative.

Familiars are supposed to be the answer to target specific types of units, because there's no point to changing the trait system now with how deep it's gone

This is my idea for a worldlines revamp :

1.) Weathers are now split into 3 categories

• Minor weathers - only gives the elemental damage debuff and buff.

• Normal weathers - Includes the weather features and element debuff/buff.

• Catastrophic weathers - Completely revamps the weather passives of the previous weather condition into a more challenging and new mechanic.

Maps are now categorized into 3 types of clear difficulty which are Easy, Moderate, and Hard mode. ALL STAGES ARE AUTO SET TO [NORMAL WEATHER,MODERATE MAP]

• Matching Moderate maps with catastrophic weathers will count as 2 floor clears once completed and matching Hard maps with catastrophic weathers will count as 3 floor clears once finished.

• With these mechanics you can optimize your gameplay on wordlines to be either easier or faster but with harder difficulty.
