Feedback: Raid stage

• Right off the bat i will say i do like how the main enemy gimmick has alot of ways to counter it

• Stage buffs are alright? Only thing i would say is that the buff should be more consistent between units

• Nullification gimmick is pretty unique, although any gimmick should have some way to circumvent or fight against it, in its current state its a cool gimmick that will be mildly annoying to play around

• Nothing to say about Gamma bosses, just average bosses with small gimmicks

• Cell boss, When i said that there should be a way to circumvent it this is NOT what i mean. Having the boss just destroy the stages main gimmick may be lore accurate but not very interesting gameplay wise. Instead have a way for the player to destroy the nullification field instead of the game just removing it

Ex: to destroy the Nullification field mabye you could have players destroy buildings around the map which will destroy the field (Just a very bare bones idea)

• Cell boss: other then it destorying the field again its a pretty standerd boss enemy not bad not blowing my mind though.

• Nuke: What does the nuke do if you don't destroy it? i don't think this was ever specifed

• Shop is pretty standerd

It's rather that it's just enemies that can target units and stun so just avoiding/countering target is what he supposed as counter

I can't say much either. Literally, nullification of buffs is fun, so units that deal damage outside of buffs (even like Vegeta that deals more damage to single enemy, instead of getting it as buff) being good there is fun. Breaking it not fun

Not played bloons td and etc (due to it being not popular in my country) but i like pvp mechanic of basically rng preset and theme-locked preset

Other stuff is kinda normal for me. Tho SSJ Blue skin for Goku and Vegeta SSJ 2-3 is quite the 😭

Pvp:

pvp... Do i have to say anything more? Its a failed gamemode and having a new gamemode heavly based on it well... is a bad idea to say the least? even with the proposed changes it wouldint make it any better. To fix pvp it needs a total overhaul in which it has to innovate so much on the formula that its honestly not even worth touching.

Boss rush:

• I do like the "zombie" mechanic thats similar to battle cats zombies

• Again with the boss its just a standerd boss? Yeah it has its small gimmicks but it doesint really blow me away

Overall i would say the concept itself it a 5.5/10, Needs a good amount of work. Hopefully unit kits are cool.

Minor critques: Better formatting, Better reference images but thats just me being nitpicky

Zamasu's stage enemies a bit confusing. Especially with way it's written. Cuz, so far what i understand, is that if Merging enemy comes by dead or living enemy, it absorbs them. Yet, they don't get anything from it?..

Like, 50% to take the passive but they get nothing from undying and normal enemies anyway, who ig are main ones for stage

You may just as well just let Gohan and Picollo to ignore nullification mechanic. Tho i'd rather call it restriction or something, because nullification sounds like disabling passives

does every boss need to have gimmicks that you can only counter in certain ways?
the unique feature about cell is his mapwide stunning abilities which make you have to do a certain dps to clear.
like cid being a permanent boss, his gimmick is simple yet effective making there have to be a damage lock you have to do to kill him

Well, just once again, main things of updates are new gamemodes and units, atleast for me, which you didn't added. And based on Miso reaction, ig same for him. It's PVP with extra steps. I dislike pvp, but i like those extra steps you added. Nullification good tho taking it off is making stage less interesting. It's literally all we can say 😭

only to realise if you get another unit with good dps to a high upgrade its going to get the same thing happening to it

unique =/= good, that roadblock mechanic is an example of something being both unique and good

upon re read, i do think its a interesting mechanic which is balanced horribly. I don;t exactly remember what i was doing for the DIO boss rush but your critisim is probably valid.

All i have to say is that i put most my effort into all the fate content of the concept 😭 So if JOJO stuff seems boring, unbalanced etc then just know it was because i was uninspired and rushing it

cause ngl I feel like it was too underwhelming to compete with the newer td games like astdx and als, aot hype died a while ago and the units aren't even that good

there are so many hype animes like Naruto, OP, HxH (debatable) and even some of the new manwhas that have come out

it feels like less popular animes should just have small cameos or .5 updates instead of aot getting the whole update
Like the entirety of the new content added is just more regular stages, an annoying ass ex stage and a boss rush with failed creativity in it's mechanics

and then Devs are trying to save the game by adding more pities which essentially just means more grinding anyway
I feel like we should prioritise fun more than trying so hard to make the game unmacroable and releasing the same slop every update

Zeke: prob carried, he's good, great ability but too long of a cooldown and drawback
Armin: prob not gonna use once
Ackerman: all are nice but like they're not really that outstanding
Ymir: pretty decent though her passive can be a flop
Reiner: this guy does't have anything outstanding
Reimu, sakuya: i don't like the unique attacks at all. This game isn't BTD... why tf adding bullethell. at least sakuya is a good support. They kinda made my favorite series dirty

her aoe is bad to begin with, but her knives have travel time, slow travel time at that so you sometimes miss the enemies. also 1 knife hits 1 enemy max.

to discuss the berserk update and how its doomed to fail
name 3 berserk characters who you'd be hype for in a berserk update excluding guts and griffith
i predict you guessed only 1 - skull knight and then gave up
this update deserves to be reserved to 1 not even .5 update when its pretty much just gonna be a raid

this is the formula games like als have been following and it allows for a few things

1. less update scarcity
2. more meta variety
3. reserve resources for bigger/more updataes

and i'm pretty sure 90% of the community would prefer this anyway
hell even some of the devs would
less assets for an update that isnt gonna be that big regardless
like aot is an example, half of the units are low quality and ymir just reuses assets from every single one of them 😭
poorly made passives and the only unique ones are zeke and eren, eren requiring a whole loadout of different units and zeke just not fitting source material too well imo. we are yet to have a strong summon unit and this was the perfect update for it and they just gave up

but thats enough aot slop back to berserk and future update concepts
(i think aot should've been a .5 too btw half of the units seem like filler although the rush was alright ig, could've been executed better)

we jsut have the same old evolution system that adds like a passive, an ability and a few more moves if you're lucky
meanwhile the reason als maintains a constant playercount leagues above av is because they actually do high effort units that have good quests. like who on earth decided Horn of Salvation ichigo was gonna be another free evo that gained a mediocre ability and got outshined by like everyone else in his update
which brings us back to berserk

if devs are only gonna drop like 3 hype units in an update then make them fun to get, fun to grind out, fun to evolve and fulfilling to get and use
its so annoying getting the same unit from the banner and just using them and getting bored in a day or 2 knowing damn well thats gonna be the same unit you use for another month before an update drops and you get the same slop again

ever since they started releasing guilty gear when people clearly pointed out the flaws with the dbz update i've considered switching to ALS but didnt since i kept that LITTLE hope in my heart they'd actually use some ingenuity to figure out that their community needs to be listened to to provide their updates
LIKE WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DROP KAGUYA WITHOUT A NARUTO UPDATE KNOWING DAMN WELL THATS ONE OF THE MOST REQUESTED UPDATES OF ALL TIME? they gave people false hope by giving naruto cosmetics too 😭

and then the one time they promise to revisit units like als does in the form of sukuna's 2nd evo

it gets scrapped because of the bullshit excuse of legal problems, meanwhile als does exactly what they were gonna do to sukuna and faces absolutely 0 REPERCUSSIONS???

cid was the only way they properly executed this and even then i think it was a little poor. birdcage was cool, handcuffs were ehh and the atomic nuke was nice

also his kit in ssb wasn't thought out ui/mui is much more impressive
