#Timer

Not possible for obvious reasons, working with specific deadlines adds pressure to deving overall.
For big publishers that aint a problem tho, for most cases however this aint one
Or well thats my guess atleast idk
Hmm ig im just being selfish
Make sense
Are the devs babies or why can't they handle a bit of pressure?
Dunno, but what do you think will happen if this timer gets to 0 in one scenario
And then theres a big game breaking bug
That takes hours to fix
Getting out of nowhere
So out of the 30 or so devs that tend to work on an update how many of them will actually meet deadlines, and if they have things happen irl or they fail to meet the deadlines what's the fall back plan.
What happens when a project takes more time than predicted.
One day ppl will realize devs wanna get you the update as soon as they can. They don't sit idly by and goof around. They can't be paid for their work until your playing the new stuff.
Surely you can announce the update a bit sooner than literally the day before
