was the OLD dev team
and the devs that made gogeta
were the NEW dev team

OLD dev team had a different idea for vanguards
they wanted them to be weak and trophy unit

NEW dev team decided that they should instead be meta because of how rare they are, but only meta for a while

now here we have a clash of ideas
so the NEW dev team decides to OVERRIDE the OLD dev team's idea of vanguards being trophy units
and therefore buffs diavolo, to match the standard of vanguards, but still be weaker because they dont want community outrage over an old unobtainable unit being buffed
