1 - New players would be able to choose 1 unit a week. At first this would be helpful, but you have to understand theres atleast 10 mythic units you NEED to have as of right now. After the new player picks a dps character, they will have to wait again in the banner for who knows how much time until the next support/whatever character appears
2- There is no price or anything to this, just a free "have this unit in middle"
3- New units arent excluded from this, meaning that everyone would just wait for showcases and therefore everyone would have the best unit in the update in no time

3 isnt really that big of an issue

im not agaisnt the idea of making a different system to the banner to be more adequate to when there are new units, however this wouldnt solve anything really

1. so what? this isnt a flaw it just makes new player prog less RNG and begging for the game to put a unit thats actually usable in late game content, but if this is that big of an issue putting a low lvl cap (25) on it would fix it, this way they still have to play the game before pulling someone who can 1 shot all of story.

2. the price is the gems your spending, and the ONE WEEK waiting time before another vote happens, why would you have to pay extra for summoning on a slightly special banner?

3. the 2 main units of every update get forced into banner anyways, a 3rd being pickable wouldnt hurt anyone

1. In my opinion it’s better like that so they don't have a dependency on this banner + I don't think this would stop progression. They can always try to pull from the normal banners for units this suggestion although it can help newer players, I feel mostly aligns with people who don't have a lot of time to get the units they want specifically.
