Pretty damn selfish innit? I had an argument with someone yesterday- saying that someone’s own subjective experience and good luck should not justify the neglect of QoL, because Statistics > Personal experience every time. Your luck and the luck of your friends does not change the fact that Gogeta has a .005% drop rate. That is an objectively low chance that demands time and energy, but Roblox slop has desensitized us to this.

You want to make Vanguards harder to get just bc “it’s so ez for me” and “muh exclusivity”, be real, who does that help? How does that make the game more fun? Do not say trade value- that’s not a gameplay feature.

Sure, a level 24 can get Gogeta. That’s how statistics works, there’s a non zero chance of that happening. But there’s also a non zero chance that you will never get him- ever. Even as a high level with millions of presents. Doesn’t matter if you “lock in” or not.

I don’t understand why people are against pro-player features like this. It’s like ya’ll like being milked for premium payouts or are just gambling addicts. Soft pity doesn’t even garuntee anything, it’s just there to say “we see your grind, keep going.” Like at most a good soft-pity would double his drop chance (0.005 -> 0.025).

That’s still low, but rewards continuous effort, and that’s enough for me. Ppl who think soft pity is a handout don’t even know what it is.

Trading ‘value’ isn’t gameplay, dipshit-soft pity rewards grind. Unrewarding grinds make ppl quit.
