emote and mount indexes are a no, it was something that was already discussed, it feels like something added just for the sake of adding it rather than a genuine improvement, people will claim the rewards once then ignore it until there are more rewards to claim when most emotes and mounts are already given as achievement rewards anyways
so you basically get a reward for getting a reward

as for shiny units, no idea.
