I really wanted a tokyo ghoul upd so whenever the devs planned to add a tokyo ghoul upd I would want to see a unique mechanics in td games. Its where you can acquire another passive from other units. In the tokyo ghoul verse, ghoul organs are being disect and turn into quinques (weapon against ghoul) and can also transplant them to make a half human and half ghoul inheriting ghoul characteristics. With this mechanics, each player only have 6 chances to use it, once per unit only. They can obtain passives of other units (the unit sacrificed will be completley deleted) and the chances for each passives must be all equal except active abilities making them rare to obtain. With this, old units can still be considered as useful. I suggest also that u can only get the passive of the units in their same verse. Crazy suggestion yeah but make use of it to add a new mechanics that has yet to exist.

they can still adjust some part of it like only gaining half the effects of the passive.

The only way I see this being somewhat balanced is

If the dissecting mechanic were limited to only Tokyo ghoul units

Or a handful of handpicked units
