Sin piece was never an atd game, it was a one piece game made off the back of when pixel piece originally failed. Cause we liked the premise and didnt like GPO. In general an ATD game isnt as hard to code as you think. Its about as hard as bloons is to code before trying to add in all sorts of CC. And uh… if you look into the code of and of the old Java bloons games on their website, its rather simple

Clean code is through experience that they are gaining, but their current team is obviously writing in spaghetti cause Salter loses all function with Sakura placed if any form of lag on roblox’ end happens

But guess what, coding an entire moveset and combat system for a pvpve game with air combat, is a little more difficult than coding enemies and placing towers. Passives are whats messing the devs up. I’ll give them they’ll eventually catch their stride. But you dont know coding and assume 2 lines is gonna be a lot more

You know why its not gonna be that difficult? You call forth the units obtain date and owner, then have it trade when you trade the shiny over. That way the now not shiny has the the old not-shiny’s summon date and summoner name

At most that could be like 10 lines if you had very spaghetti code

And had to call forth from like 3 different hold values

What the devs need to do is have a separate place where they test things actually in game instead of in roblox studio

Studio for some reasons works differently so you should always test in the actual game after making sure it works in studio

Shiny transfer will not affect absolutely anything in trade or trade value in the future, whether there is a shiny transfer or not, there would still be a shiny unit in the game, but it wouldnt be "used" , I could say that it will even become more difficult to obtain in trade, just like in AA, the traits are not passed on, and that's it, no one will simply trade a unit with a monarch just to be shiny

the only case this could even be argued is if you have 2 of the same unit 1 shiny one, one not, and your still not MOVING the trait, your moving the shiny tag, this is different for a handful of reasons the easiest for av morons to understand would be the stat roll, and regardless what would it fucking matter this wouldnt affect anyone or the game negatively in any way.

the biggest issue that could be argued with this is shiny value being taken down for a handful of units in which case you could just make it so you can only transfer shinys between units of the same rarity just like we already do with stat rolls this stop someone getting a shiny legendary unit and then giving sakura a 0.75 boss event unit a shiny.

or if you still want to nitpick just make it so shinys can only be transferred to the same unit, this would more then likely be enough to satisfy most people who want this to be added because the most annoying thing is having 2 of the same unit one shiny and the other not with 3 ascensions a solid trait and good stat rolls.
